Aislinn Sotelo is the Director of Metadata Services at the University of California, San Diego Library where she utilizes inclusive leadership and management practices. She is a leader in developing partnerships and has experience leading organizational change using inclusive processes that emphasize the value of people. Aislinn is also an active leader across the UC Libraries. Prior to her current position she was Head of Special Collections Technical Services at UC San Diego. 

Aislinn is a graduate of the Harvard Leadership Institute for Academic Libraries (2019), the Triangle Research Library Network Management Academy (2015) and the DeEtta Jones Inclusive Manager’s Toolkit course (2021). Aislinn received a B.A. in History (2005) from San Diego State University and a M.L.I.S. (2007) from the University of California, Los Angeles.
