2010 Schedule
In August 2010, California Rare Book School will offer eight courses over two weeks. Most of the courses will be held on the campus of UCLA, one course (Descriptive Bibliography) will be held off campus at UCLA's William Andrews Clark Memorial Library. Several courses will include field trips to the many important collections in Southern California, and all will include hands-on experience with rare books and/or manuscripts.

Program Details
The tuition for CalRBS courses in 2010 is $995/course. If a student takes a course in week 1 and week 2, the tuition is $1,800 for both courses. Course size is limited to 15 students.
Course credit must be determined by the student's
home institution, UCLA MLIS students please contact
CalRBS for more information about obtaining course credit.
CalRBS is currently accepting applications for Summer 2010. Applications will be accepted up until July 3rd 2010, if you wish to apply for a CalRBS course and it is after July 3rd, 2010 please contact CalRBS.
Admission to CalRBS courses is conducted on a
rolling basis until the course is full, admission is determined by the
instructor of the course, based upon the information provided in your
application. Early application is encouraged. Application
